Meet Kane - Ike Kai Founder
Aloha! I’m Kane Turalde, a 20-year-old native Hawaiian pro surfer from Hilo, Hawaiʻi. Competing on the WSL qualifying series has sharpened my skills, but my ocean knowledge comes from my kūpuna (elders) who’ve lived off the ocean for generations. Raised with Hawaiian values like hōʻihi (respect) and hā‘aha‘a (humility), I bring these principles to every lesson. My goal is to create a friendly, supportive environment where you can connect to the waves and take home an unforgettable experience that lasts a lifetime.
